Keliknon Widwā .

What is the Keliknon Widwā?

The Keliknon Widwā is to be a fellowship, especially for Gaulish and Brittonic polytheists, who are working and studying to be in greater service to the Gods and their community. We will come together with the shared desire to deepen our practice and relationship with our Gods. The Keliknon will be a place of learning and collaboration for those who want to serve their Gods and community, both religious and non-religious.

What is the purpose of the Keliknon Widwā?

Within some of us, there is a desire to deepen our relationship with our Gods and to devote ourselves to Them further. Or perhaps some of us wish to enrich our practices and to have them become more ingrained within our lives. Regardless of the exact yearning, there is a desire in some of us for more. We can craft something just right by building it from the ground up and gaining experience by participating in what already exists.

Eventually, the Keliknon will seek to grow into a slightly more “formal” organisation and provide training for those who wish to become religious specialists, whether monks, priests, seers, service magicians, or something similar.

Why join the Keliknon Widwā?

If you desire a group and organisation that you can help mould to your interests, the Keliknon is for you. If you wish for a space where you can determine your workload, structure, projects and pace, all with the support of other like-minded individuals, the Keliknon is for you. If you long for an interfaith group that work towards the same goals of serving the Gods and the community, the Keliknon is for you.

You will also gain access to share resources (books, papers, etc.) and the ability to contribute to larger projects, such as zines, podcasts and websites, if you so desire.

How will it work?

The Keliknon will bring together like-minded individuals with shared goals and purposes to increase our understanding of polytheism and its many Gods through solo and group study and practice. The shared study will include books, papers, other educational material, and enrolment and study of other organisations and their operations. Individuals will be able to focus on topics of interest or work with others on shared projects, and all findings will be shared as a group in whatever format is most appropriate. In this way, we can focus deeply on our subjects of interest and learn through each other's passion.

There will be resources provided which can be read, watched and listened to together or individually. Notes or thoughts taken can and should be shared to provide information for all involved in the Keliknon.

There are no responsibilities or expected outcomes from individuals, as that can be set by yourself. It is anticipated that if you join, you join with the intent to contribute within your means, but we understand if there are fallow periods as life gets busy.

Who can join, and how?

The Keliknon is open to Gaulish, Brittonic and Roman polytheists and individuals influenced by or who draw from these practices.
